Ingredients
01 – 2 lbs ground beef or turkey
02 – 1 medium onion, chopped
03 – 3 cloves garlic, minced
04 – 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
05 – 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
06 – 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
07 – 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
08 – 1 cup beef or chicken broth
09 – 1 tbsp chili powder
10 – 1 tsp ground cumin
11 – 1 tsp smoked paprika
12 – 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
13 – 1 tsp salt
14 – 1/2 tsp black pepper

Brown the Meat:
In a skillet, cook ground beef or turkey over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Sauté the Aromatics:
Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the browned meat. Cook for 2–3 minutes until fragrant.
Combine in Slow Cooker:
Transfer the meat mixture to a slow cooker. Add kidney beans, black beans, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, and broth.
Season:
Stir in chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, cayenne (if using), salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.
Cook:
Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or high for 3–4 hours, stirring occasionally.
Taste and Adjust:
Before serving, taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
Serve:
Ladle chili into bowls and top with your favorite toppings like cheese, sour cream, green onions, or tortilla chips. Enjoy!
