
Ingredients:
1 lb chicken feet
1 tbsp cooking oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 inch ginger, minced
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup rice vinegar
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 red chili, sliced (optional)
Green onions for garnish
Instructions:
- Clean the chicken feet:
Rinse the chicken feet under cold water. Trim the nails and any rough patches using a sharp knife. - Boil the chicken feet:
In a large pot, cover the chicken feet with water and bring to a boil. Let them cook for 5-7 minutes, then drain and rinse with cold water. - Marinate the chicken feet:
In a bowl, combine the chicken feet, soy sauce, and ginger. Allow them to marinate for at least 30 minutes. - Cook the chicken feet:
In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant. Add the marinated chicken feet and cook until browned. - Make the sweet and sour sauce:
In a small bowl, whisk together the rice vinegar, sugar, water, and cornstarch. Pour the sauce over the chicken feet in the skillet and bring to a simmer. Cook until the sauce thickens, coating the chicken feet. - Add the chili and garnish:
If using, add the sliced red chili to the skillet and stir. Garnish with green onions and serve hot.
