Savory Garlic Chicken Stir-Fry with Tender Cabbage
Ingredients:
1 lb (450g) boneless chicken breast or thighs, thinly sliced
3 cups green cabbage, shredded
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon neutral oil (like vegetable or canola)
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 small onion, thinly sliced
1 teaspoon ginger, minced
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon green onions or sesame seeds (for garnish)

Directions:
In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Set aside.
Heat the neutral oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add sliced chicken and cook for 4–6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until lightly browned and cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside.
In the same pan, add a little more oil if needed. Sauté garlic, onion, and ginger until fragrant and lightly golden.
Toss in the shredded cabbage and stir-fry for 3–5 minutes, until slightly wilted but still crisp.
Return the chicken to the pan. Pour in the prepared sauce and stir to coat everything evenly.
Cook for another 2–3 minutes until the sauce is slightly thickened and everything is well combined.
Garnish with green onions or sesame seeds before serving.
