 Saucy CHICKEN Adobo sweet and spicy
Ingredients:
• 1 kilogram chicken, leg and wings
• ⅓ cup soy sauce
• ground black pepper
• ½ cup vinegar
• 2 ¼ cups hot water
• 3 pcs bay leaves
• 5 cloves garlic
• 1 medium onion
• 5 pcs red chilies
• 2 tbsp brown sugar
• cooking oil
• 3 medium potatoes

Methods:
✓ Put the chicken in the bowl, add soy sauce and pepper. Mix and marinate for 1 hour.
Separate the marinade sauce. Set aside.
✓ Fry the chicken until it becomes brown and a bit soft. Remove from the pan and set aside.
✓ In the same pan, saute the garlic until it turns brown. Next is the onion, also saute until translucent. Add the potatoes stir-fry for 2 minutes. Then add the chilies and bay leaves. Saute for a minute. Return the fried chicken to the pan and stir-fry for 2 minutes. Add sugar, stir to dissolve. Then add the marinade sauce, let it simmer for 1 minute until absorbed. Add vinegar, do not stir for 3 minutes. Then stir, add hot water cover and simmer for 15 minutes on medium to low heat. Stir occasionally. Continue cooking until the sauce reduces and thickens.
