Garlic Steak Bites over Creamy Parmesan Spaghetti Pasta

Ingredients:

8 ounces fettuccine or Spaghetti
1 pound sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
3 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions:

Cook the pasta: Cook the fettuccine or spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving a little bit of the pasta water for later.
Cook the steak: Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steak bites with salt and pepper. Add them to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes, until browned and cooked to your preferred doneness. Once done, remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
Make the sauce: In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil and minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes, being careful not to burn the garlic, until it becomes fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Continue stirring until the cheese melts and the sauce becomes creamy. If the sauce thickens too much, add some of the reserved pasta water to reach your desired consistency.
Combine the pasta and steak: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat the noodles in the creamy sauce. Gently fold in the steak bites.
Serve: Plate the pasta, garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color, and serve warm.
