Filipino Bihon Stirfry

A Golden noodles stir fry with shrimp and veggies

Recipe:
1 small pack Golden noodles
1 cup celery stalks diced
1 red bell peppers sliced
1 cloves garlic minced
1 onion sliced
2 tbsp oil
1/2 cup spring onions

Shrimp:
10 large shrimp deveined
2 tablespoons butter
2 cloves garlic minced
2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
1 teaspoon dried parsley

Stir Fry Sauce:
3 tbsp Light soy sauce
2 tbsp Oyster sauce
1/4 cup water
1/4 tsp black pepper

Steps:

First, soak the noodles in the hot water for 10 minutes. Then rinse with cold water, and set aside.

Mix all the stir fry sauce ingredients in a small bowl, whisk and set it aside.

In a pan, add butter, let it melts. Saute the garlic until fragrant. Add shrimp and stir fry till orange. Add sweet chili sauce and mix till combined. Sprinkle some dried parsley. Remove from the pan. Set aside.

In the same pan, heat the oil, add garlic and stir for a few seconds. Follow with the onion, celery and bell peppers till tender.
Then, add the noodles. Add the sauce mixture in.

Toss well to combine everything evenly and cook until the noodles absorbed all the sauce. Garnish with spring onions. Arrange the cooked shrimp on top. Ready to serve. Enjoy!
