Easy One-Pot Creamy Beef and Garlic Butter Pasta

Easy One-Pot Creamy Beef and Garlic Butter Pasta

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef
2 tablespoons butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup beef broth
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
8 ounces pasta (penne or spaghetti works well)
Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish

Directions:

In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned and fully cooked, about 7-8 minutes.
Add the minced garlic and chopped onion to the pot and cook for 2-3 minutes, until the onion becomes soft and translucent.
Stir in the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Pour in the beef broth, scraping up any bits from the bottom of the pot, and bring it to a simmer.
Add the heavy cream and bring the mixture back to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
Add the pasta to the pot and pour in just enough water to cover the pasta. Stir well and bring to a simmer. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions, about 8-10 minutes, until the pasta is tender and the sauce has thickened.
Once the pasta is cooked, stir everything together until well combined.
Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve hot.
