Delicious Garlic Cumin Spare Ribs Recipe

Ingredients:

2 pounds pork spare ribs, cut into 1-2inch pieces
2 tablespoons cooking oil
1 onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
1 tablespoon chili powder
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup light soy sauce
1/4 cup oyster sauce
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
2 green onions, chopped
Red chili peppers, sliced (optional)

Instructions:

In a large bowl, combine the ribs, garlic, ginger, chili powder, cumin, black pepper, salt, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and rice vinegar. Mix well to coat the ribs evenly.

Heat the cooking oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the ribs and cook until browned on all sides.
Add the onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 30-40 minutes, or until the ribs are tender.

Uncover and increase heat to high. Cook for a few minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the ribs.

Garnish with green onions and red chili peppers (if using). Serve hot with rice.
