Decadent Choco-Banana Milk Cake Recipe

Ingredients:
For the Cake:
2 ripe bananas, mashed
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 cup milk
2 large eggs
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Milk Mixture:
1 ¼ cups whole milk
¼ cup sweetened condensed milk
½ tsp vanilla extract
For the Chocolate Ganache:
4 oz semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
½ cup heavy cream
1 tbsp unsalted butter
Directions:
To make the cake, preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch square baking pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate bowl, beat the milk, eggs, melted butter, mashed bananas, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry mixture and stir until fully combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the center of the cake.
Allow the cake to cool completely in the pan.
For the milk mixture, heat the whole milk and sweetened condensed milk in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
Once warm, remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
After the cake has cooled, poke holes across the top with a fork or skewer.
Pour the milk mixture over the cake slowly, ensuring it soaks into all the holes. Let the cake absorb the milk for about 10 minutes.
To make the ganache, heat the heavy cream in a saucepan until it begins to simmer.
Remove from heat, then add the chopped chocolate and butter, stirring until smooth.
Allow the ganache to cool for a few minutes before pouring it over the soaked cake.
Once the ganache sets, slice the cake into squares and enjoy the indulgent flavors of the Decadent Choco-Banana Milk Cake!
