INGREDIENTS:

For the Chicken:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 packet ranch seasoning mix
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup chicken broth
Salt and pepper to taste

For the Buttery Mashed Potatoes:
2 pounds russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/2 cup milk
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

INSTRUCTIONS:

STEP 1: PREPARE THE CHICKEN
Place Chicken: In a crockpot, add the chicken breasts.
Mix Ingredients: In a bowl, combine the ranch seasoning mix, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth. Pour the mixture over the chicken. Season with salt and pepper.
Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and easily shredded.

STEP 2: MAKE THE BUTTERY MASHED POTATOES
Boil Potatoes: In a large pot, add the cubed potatoes and cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
Drain and Mash: Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter, milk, salt, and pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy.

STEP 3: COMBINE AND SERVE
Shred Chicken: Once the chicken is cooked, shred it using two forks and mix it with the gravy in the crockpot.
Serve: Plate the buttery mashed potatoes and top with the ranch chicken and gravy. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
