Creamy Spicy Garlic Butter Steak Pasta with Parmesan Sauce

Ingredients:
1.5 lbs sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
12 oz pasta (penne, rigatoni, or linguine)
4 tbsp butter
5 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp Cajun seasoning
½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional for extra heat)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
For the Parmesan Cream Sauce:
1.5 cups heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
½ cup shredded mozzarella (for extra cheesiness)
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta until al dente, according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. Sear the Steak: Season the steak pieces with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. In a large skillet, melt 2 tbsp butter over medium-high heat. Add the steak and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove and set aside.
3. Make Garlic Butter Base: In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tbsp butter. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
4. Create the Creamy Parmesan Sauce: Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream. Let it simmer for 2 minutes, then stir in Parmesan and mozzarella cheese. Whisk until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper.
5. Combine Everything: Add the cooked pasta and steak back into the skillet. Toss everything together until fully coated in the spicy, creamy, cheesy sauce.
6. Serve: Plate it up and garnish with freshly chopped parsley and a little more Parmesan if desired.
