Chocolate Gooey Butter Cake
Ingredients:
1 box chocolate cake mix
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
4 large eggs, divided
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
4 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup cocoa powder
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
In a bowl, mix the chocolate cake mix, melted butter, and 2 eggs. Press into the bottom of the dish.
In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add the remaining 2 eggs, powdered sugar, vanilla, and cocoa powder. Mix until smooth.
Pour over the crust and spread evenly.
Bake for 40-45 minutes, until the top is slightly set but still gooey.
Cool completely before slicing.
