Ingredients:
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 1/2 cups dark chocolate chips (or chocolate coating)
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
Directions:
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate large bowl, using a mixer, cream the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Stir in the mini chocolate chips.
- Press the cookie dough into a lined 9×9 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the cookie dough, spreading it gently.
- Freeze for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
- Once set, remove from the dish and cut into bars.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil together, stirring until smooth.
- Dip each bar into the melted chocolate, ensuring it’s completely coated, and place on a parchment-lined tray.
- Return the coated bars to the freezer for at least 30 minutes to set the chocolate.
