Chicken Bacon Ranch Tater Tot Casseroles
Ingredients:
1. 6 slices cooked bacon, chopped
2. 4 cooked, shredded chicken breasts
3. 32 oz. frozen tater tots
4. ½ cup ranch dressing
5. 1 cup milk
6. 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
7. 3 tbsp butter
8. 1½ cups shredded mild cheddar cheese
9. Salt & pepper to taste
Directions:
Preheat Oven:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
Prepare the Sauce:
2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
3. Whisk in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until it forms a paste.
4. Slowly pour in the milk while whisking continuously until the mixture thickens.
5. Remove from heat and stir in the ranch dressing. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Assemble the Casserole:
6. Spread half of the tater tots in an even layer at the bottom of the baking dish.
7. Top with half of the shredded chicken, bacon, and cheddar cheese.
8. Pour half of the ranch sauce over the layers.
9. Repeat the layers with the remaining tater tots, chicken, bacon, cheese, and ranch sauce.
Bake the Casserole:
10. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
11. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Serve:
12. Let the casserole cool slightly before serving.
