
Ingredients:
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 head of cabbage, shredded
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup water
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon sesame oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Prepare the chicken: In a bowl, season the chicken with salt and pepper.
Make the sauce: In a separate bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, water, cornstarch, brown sugar, and sesame oil.
Stir-fry: Heat the oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until browned and fully cooked. Remove from the pan and set aside.
Add vegetables: Add the onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened. Add the cabbage and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until it starts to wilt.
Combine: Return the chicken to the pan. Pour in the sauce and cook until it thickens and coats the chicken and vegetables.
Serve: Serve hot with rice
