Ingredients:
1 pound chicken tenders
1 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 cup all-purpose flour
Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, combine the buttermilk, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Add the chicken tenders to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (or overnight for best results).
2. In a shallow dish, place the flour. Remove each chicken tender from the marinade, allowing excess buttermilk to drip off, and coat it in the flour. Shake off any excess flour.
3. Heat about 1 inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot (around 350°F/175°C).
4. Carefully add the coated chicken tenders to the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for 4-6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/75°C).
5. Use a slotted spoon to remove the chicken tenders from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
6. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy your delicious Buttermilk Fried Chicken Tenders!
