Bacon Mushroom Swiss Cheese Meatloaf

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef
1/2 lb ground pork
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup milk
1 egg
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 cup mushrooms, finely chopped
1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
1/4 cup ketchup (for glaze)
2 tablespoons brown sugar (for glaze)
Directions:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until just combined.
Gently fold in the mushrooms, bacon, and half of the shredded Swiss cheese.
Transfer the mixture to the prepared loaf pan, shaping it evenly.
In a small bowl, mix ketchup and brown sugar to create the glaze. Spread it evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
Bake for 45 minutes. Remove the meatloaf, sprinkle the remaining Swiss cheese on top, and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Allow the meatloaf to rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
