Ingredients:
4 turkey wings (separated at joints)
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for extra heat)
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cornstarch
Oil for frying
Instructions:
Season the Turkey Wings:
Rinse and pat dry the turkey wings.
Rub them with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper.
Pour buttermilk over the wings, making sure they’re coated. Let them marinate for at least 1 hour (overnight for best results).
Prepare the Coating:
In a bowl, mix flour and cornstarch.
Remove wings from buttermilk and coat them evenly in the flour mixture. Shake off any excess.
Fry the Wings:
Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
Fry wings in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pot. Cook for 10–12 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F).
Drain and Serve:
Remove wings from oil and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Enjoy the crispy, flavorful Cajun fried turkey wings!
