Ingredients
For the Beef Filling:
1 lb ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning
1/4 cup water
For the Wrap:
4 large flour tortillas
1 cup nacho cheese sauce
1/2 cup shredded lettuce
1/2 cup diced tomatoes
1/4 cup sliced jalapeños (optional)
1/4 cup sour cream (optional)
Extras:
Tortilla chips for crunch (optional)
Salsa or guacamole for dipping
Instructions
Cook the Beef:
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain any excess grease. Stir in taco seasoning and water, cooking until the mixture thickens (about 2-3 minutes).
Warm the Tortillas:
Heat the tortillas in a microwave or skillet until soft and pliable.
Assemble the Wraps:
Spread a generous layer of nacho cheese sauce in the center of each tortilla.
Add a scoop of the seasoned beef on top of the cheese.
Layer with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and jalapeños for a spicy kick (if using).
Sprinkle crushed tortilla chips for added crunch, if desired.
Wrap It Up:
Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll it up tightly to form a wrap.
Optional Toasting:
Heat the wraps in a dry skillet over medium heat for 1-2 minutes on each side until golden brown and crisp.
Serve & Enjoy:
Serve warm with sour cream, salsa, or guacamole for dipping.
Tips
Add cooked rice or beans for extra filling.
Swap out the ground beef for shredded chicken or plant-based crumbles for a twist.
