 Triple Chocolate Cake 🍫

This rich, indulgent cake is a dream for chocolate lovers! With three layers of chocolate goodness—chocolate cake, chocolate mousse, and chocolate ganache—each bite is a heavenly experience. Perfect for any occasion, or just because you need a chocolate fix!

Ingredients:
For the Chocolate Cake:

1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 large eggs
1 cup whole milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup boiling water
For the Chocolate Mousse:

8 oz semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Chocolate Ganache:

6 oz semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions:
1️⃣ Make the Chocolate Cake:

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix well.
Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth.
Gradually pour in the boiling water and mix until the batter is thin and well-combined.
Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pans.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let the cakes cool completely in the pans before removing them.
2️⃣ Make the Chocolate Mousse:

In a heatproof bowl, melt the semi-sweet chocolate over a double boiler or in the microwave in 20-second intervals.
Allow the chocolate to cool to room temperature.
In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
Fold the cooled chocolate into the whipped cream until smooth and fluffy. Set aside.
3️⃣ Make the Chocolate Ganache:

In a heatproof bowl, pour the heavy cream over the chopped semi-sweet chocolate.
Let it sit for 2-3 minutes, then stir until smooth and glossy.
4️⃣ Assemble the Cake:

Place one layer of the cooled chocolate cake on a serving plate.
Spread a generous layer of chocolate mousse over the top of the cake.
Place the second cake layer on top and press down gently.
Pour the chocolate ganache over the top of the cake, allowing it to drip down the sides.
5️⃣ Decorate:

For an extra touch, sprinkle chocolate shavings, cocoa powder, or chopped chocolate on top.
Let the cake set for 30 minutes to an hour to allow the ganache to firm up.
🍫 Tip: For a richer flavor, refrigerate the cake for a few hours before serving to allow the mousse and ganache to set perfectly!
