Longhorn Steakhouse Parmesan Crusted Chicken
Ingredients:
For the Chicken:
– 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 ½ pounds)
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon paprika
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
For the Parmesan Crust:
– 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– 1/2 cup shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
– 1/4 cup ranch dressing (or Caesar dressing)
– 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
– 2 tablespoons melted butter
For Garnish (Optional):
– Fresh parsley, chopped
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease a baking dish.
2. In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Rub the seasoning evenly over the chicken breasts.
3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. Transfer to the baking dish.
4. In a separate bowl, mix Parmesan, provolone, and ranch dressing.
5. Spread the cheese mixture evenly over each chicken breast.
6. In another small bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs and melted butter. Sprinkle over the cheese layer.
7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F and the topping is golden brown.
8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
