1 kilo pork chop
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp paprika,
cooking oil
6 cloves garlic
1 medium onion
3 cups of water
seasoning granules
1 tsp brown sugar to balance, adjust accordingly!
10 pieces calamansi
2 pieces big white onions /(Red onions)
Procedure:
- Marinate pork chop with soy sauce, pepper, and paprika. Leave it for at least 30 minutes.
- Sear pork chops for 2 minutes on both sides.
Set it aside. - In the same pan, sauté garlic and onion until fragrant.
- Put the pork chop back into the pan and pour in the marinade sauce. Then add water and seasoning granules and let it simmer for 30-40 minutes on medium to low flame or until the pork is tender.
- Add calamansi, brown sugar, and white onions. Let it simmer again for at least 4 to 5 minutes.
- Serve with steamed rice and enjoy!
