Spicy Cowboy Queso Dip

INGREDIENTS:
– 1 lb ground beef
– 1 onion, diced
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies
– 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
– 1 block (8 oz) cream cheese, cubed
– 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
– 1-2 jalapeños, diced (optional)
– Salt and pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Once cooked, drain the excess fat.
2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until the onion becomes soft and translucent.
3. Mix in the diced tomatoes with green chilies and black beans. Cook the mixture for an additional 2-3 minutes.
4. Incorporate the cubed cream cheese, diced jalapeños (if using), and shredded cheddar cheese into the skillet. Stir until the cheeses have melted and the mixture is well combined.
5. Season the queso with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Serve the spicy cowboy queso warm with tortilla chips for dipping
