Crack Chicken Tenders

Ingredients:

1 pound chicken tenders
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs, beaten
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 packet ranch seasoning mix
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup chopped cooked bacon (optional, for topping)
Cooking spray or oil for frying
Directions:

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat oil in a skillet for frying. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper if baking.
In a shallow dish, mix flour with salt and pepper. In another dish, place the beaten eggs. In a third dish, combine panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, ranch seasoning, smoked paprika, and garlic powder.
Dredge each chicken tender in the flour, then dip it into the eggs, and finally coat it thoroughly with the breadcrumb mixture.
If baking, arrange the tenders on the prepared baking sheet and lightly spray with cooking spray. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and cooked through.
If frying, heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry each tender for 3-4 minutes per side until crispy and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.
Garnish with chopped bacon if desired, and serve with ranch dressing or your favorite dipping sauce.
